The Thunderbird tradition says when the storms came the giant birds from the north flew in on the thunderclouds. The Thunderbird is the North cabin. Tastefully furnished in Lodge/Santa Fe decor, this side of this large cabin has 2 bedrooms upstairs, with a full bath with tub for each bedroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, full bath, and the view of the canyon sunrise is spectacular as you look out at Bear mountain. The second bedroom is comfortable and roomy as well,with a queen bed, full bath, and a window that looks out to the river below. On the first floor of this spacious house is the living room, with gas fireplace, satelliteTV, and queen sofa sleeper. Also located on the main floor is a full eat in kitchen, and half bath. The back door opens out to the patio where the private hot tub and gas grill are located. On the large covered front deck which is up a flight of stairs, is a bar table and 4 comfortable chairs for your enjoyment. Below the deck is ample parking for 2 cars on each side.
