Valley of Spruce offers modern rustic lodging, in the heart of the unspoiled San Juan National Forest nestled in a mountain valley 8,000 feet above the sea, and sits upon the Vallecito river, just above the point it joins Vallecito lake, one of the largest and most beautiful bodies of water in Colorado.
All of our cabins sleep two to six people and feature beautifully hand crafted woodwork interiors. Each cabin has a modern bathroom with shower, and a kitchen that is fully equipped with utensils, pots & pans, plates & cups. Every cabin also has a BBQ grill on the deck, so that you can cook outside as well, although you will need to bring your own tinfoil. Of course we also provide clean bedding and towels, however if you plan on using the hot tub or other outdoor activities we ask that you bring your own beach towel.
This beautiful cabin is set on our pond, complete with waterfall. The sound of the river can be heard from this cabin, which features a fireplace and covered porch.
