Vacation rentals in San Diego are usually available for a minimum of 1 week stay, though daily rentals and vacation homes for 3-5 days are also offered. Getting To and Around San Diego |
Both train and bus services are available to drop you in the heart of downtown San Diego. For getting around San Diego, there is an integrated Metropolitan transit system operated by seven companies. You can have detailed timetables from the Transit Store on all weekdays except on Sundays from 8-30 AM to 5-30 PM. Bus tickets are costing $1.25- $2.5. Day Tripper Transit Passes for one- to four-day visits are also available for $5, $8, $10 and $12 respectively. You can also get passes for traveling by tram-like San Diego Trolley that runs throughout the area covering 16 miles from the Santa Fe Depot to the Mexican border at $ 4.00 only for round trip. It is a 45-minute journey and the Trolley runs every 15min starting from 5.00AM. The last trolley back leaves at 1.00AM on Saturday night. The International Visitors Information Center is open Mon-Sat from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and is located downtown at 11 Horton Plaza, F Street at First Avenue. The nearest Airport is Lindbergh Field Airport. |
